Hickory		Hickory Reformulated Our newly formulated Hickory is still a moderately coarse clay body that fires to cone 6 with 13½% shrinkage and 1.5% absorption. Hickory is an excellent throwing or hand building body. We have introduced a new fireclay into this body call Ranger Red. This fireclay helps Hickory’s maturity, strength and color. Firethorn		Firethorn NEW Firethorn is an absolutely beautiful, rich milk chocolate brown body with a slight reddish tint. After firing, Firethorn has a smooth velvet texture. This clay body also uses Ranger Red and is exceptionally strong with 14% shrinkage and 1.1% absorption.
