Amaco® Semi-Moist Overglaze Decorating Colors
AMACO Semi-Moist Overglaze Decorating Colors are a permanent ceramic decoration for glazed pottery and metal enameled pieces. Tiles, sculpture, costume jewelry and commemorative plates are only a few of the many items suitable for brilliant overglaze decoration for a third firing.

The water soluble colors may be intermixed to obtain many colors, shades, and tints. A brush dipped in water lifts the intense, semi-moist color from the pan for application on glazed pottery or fired metal enamel surfaces. There is no waste. Colors dry quickly and are practically the same tone before and after firing. Recommended firing temperature is Cone 015 with a range of Cone 016 to Cone 012.

The water soluble colors are easy to apply: just dip a wet brush into the pan to lift the color much like a watercolor paint set. Colors may be intermixed to obtain many shades and tints. They dry quickly and are practically the same tone before and after firing. Two pan sets are available, each with eight assorted colors, as well as individual refill pans for each color.

Do not use on food contact surfaces unless the underlying glaze has been tested for lead release. Avoid areas that will be exposed to cutlery as it is possible that the colors could be scratched.
